Promo videos with a humorous hook for Christians in Business conference Derby

Those first few seconds of a video are critical for us as a videography boutique in Derby, but it doen’’t need to be complicated.

We took the usual end credits blooper approach and turned it on its head, using the funny outtakes at the start to hook people in, as the videos were optimised for social media.

Based at Mark and Kerry Saxby’s Status Social office in the heart of Derby, we had great fun with Robin Miller from Excellent Consultancy, pulling together a handful of short promo videos for the Christians in Business conference in 2020.

Again, we didn’t do anything fancy on this occasion, but used each individual’s personality and the core messaging for the conference to do the work. We just enhanced what was already there, a bit like applying some makeup.

The national conference aims to inspire and encourage Christian business owners and senior decision-makers to run their business in line with Kingdom-principles. Gary Grant from The Entertainer toy stores will be the keynote speaker.
