Branding & website design for a South London garden designer
Georgia Lindsay Garden Design is a Landscape and Garden Design Studio in South London. It was founded and is led by the lovely Georgia Lindsay whose vision for her garden design clients is ‘to strive to create modern, imaginative spaces from city courtyards to country gardens’.
Georgia originally comes from an interiors and theatre set design background, which is key to her current design style: she helps her customers feel inspired to create ambitious outdoor spaces that make the most of their site and enhances their surroundings. She creates bold, brave and beautiful gardens to enjoy from the outside in.
We met Georgia shortly after the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and she wanted to completely rebuild her branding and website, as she felt it was very outdated. She wanted a website that was more dynamic and one that she could update easily with all her garden design projects. As for her branding, she was open to suggestions, but wanted to attract higher profile clients by conveying a more elevated aesthetic.
Services & Scope
The Brief
Georgia commissioned us to create her new branding & digital identity. One of her primary concerns was to attract more high end clients: discerning, more appreciative of her garden design style and with healthier budgets. As Georgia offers a less traditional approach to garden design - bringing theatricality and drama into the outside space - she wanted to reflect her unique style of design work across her branded assets. Georgia has many ambitions for the future of her garden design studio, so it was important we considered this from a commercial perspective in the early strategy stages.
The outcome
We created a suite of brand marks to use across Georgia’s stationery and online presence as a landscape and garden designer in London and beyond. We also created a graphical style to use on her stationery and on her website.
We used an elegant font and adapted it with circles and lines (which form the basis of her work as a garden designer) and combined this with a classic modernist font to ground the logo.
